Dan and I put our Chicago Architecture Foundation memberships to use the other weekend and went on one of their downtown tours - "A Walk Through Time."
The tour was an hour long and guided us through the evolution of the skyscraper in downtown Chicago - starting with the six-story Berghoff building from 1898. We saw quite a few buildings - some of my favorites being the Marquette building (with beautiful mosaics inside), the Harold Washington Library, the Sears Tower and the Trump Tower.
Fun time in the city!
