I had a super busy week this past week -
Fri: paintball outing with co-workers
Sat: tons of errands & day trip to WI for Matt & Katie's neighborhood fireworks,
Sun: late night birthday party for Alex,
Mon: wine night,
Tues: day trip to Columbus, OH for work,
Wed: dinner & drinks at Tank Sushi,
Thurs: meeting Miss Gianna,
Plus, during the day work was absolutely crazy as I was meeting & working with my new divisional merchants for the first time!
By Friday night I was exhausted.
It called for a quiet night in with a home-cooked dinner, cuddle time with Otis & a DVR'd episode of "So You Think You Can Dance?"
This dinner was wonderful, and afterwards I made a batch of peanut butter cookies. As I was pulling them out of the oven, Claudio knocked on the door. Yet again, he was giving me a dish full of watermelon - do I need to say again that I love this man?
In addition, Alex was out on the patio playing his acoustic guitar and singing folk songs. I took a plate of cookies out on the porch along with my glass of wine. I cozied up in my patio chair and enjoyed my personal patio concert.
The perfect ending to a crazy week and the perfect beginning to a fabulous weekend!
